The Resilience and Recovery National Plan is a great chance to renew the digital features and functionalities that local Institutions have at their disposal.

Several bid are being made, for example, to simplify the digitalisation of existing systems, which are already in use in Data Centres, or to secure solution already in place, or to enable the migrations toward system or production chains’ Clouds; other bids are related to the massive use of authentication systems based on SPID, CIE and Open ID connect, or concerning portals for citizens.

The bids system calls for a great responsibility towards the operators which will have to make choices concerning the non-targeted funds at their disposal. This is a completely new operation which is founded on the responsibilization of the local Institutions, which are supposed to choose procedures and methods to proceed in the complex setting of bid regulations for the management of the financial balances. The Region Emilia-Romagna defined Lepida as a Unique Point of Contact.

In order to address the complexity of the situation experts, ANCI and involved subjects have been brought together to discuss the developments and technical mechanisms. It was defined a Unique Point of Contact type mechanism through a form linked at: pnrr.lepida.it; moreover, every friday morning, usually at 11:30 AM, a 50 minutes meeting is held; it is available at the link: incontripnrr.lepida.it. The broad participation to these meetings is proof of the interest of local Institutions in keeping on improving the services provided to the citizens and the will to take advantage of the chances offered by the PNRR. Recordings and documents are available at the following link https://www.lepida.net/pnrr. It is Lepida’s intention to keep its newsletter’s readers monthly updated about the PNRR.
