The PADRION project (Public Administrations facing Digital transformation as a community in the ADRION area) has been selected for the financing program Interreg cooperation Program IPA Adrion 2021-2027. The project addresses the common challenge of digital transformation and innovation capacity of Public Administrations.

Lepida will coordinate the Project section involving Public Organizations (Municipalities, Municipality Associations and Public Regional Development Agencies) from Albania, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia, all of which address similar territorial challenges regarding the digital transition.

On a local point of view, the Municipality of Piacenza is a partner of the Project and curates a section dedicated to women and digital innovation, regardless of whether they are female PA administrators or ordinary citizens.

PADRION aims to address the common challenge of digital transformation and to strengthen the innovation capacity in order to support a smarter Adriatic-Ionian Region.

The general objective is to promote a Sustainable Development, to get better Public Services and to obtain economic growth and social cohesion confronting the territorial challenges linked to the digital transition with a focus on women’s roles.

PADRION will export the regional model of Thematic Communities and Local Digital Agendas to the Adriatic-Ionian Region through a transnational approach that involves stakeholders from different regions to create a collaborative environment and to promote tools based on the different territories’ needs.

The project will presumably start between May and June of 2024, after a negotiation phase with the management Authority of IPA ADRION.
