The first experimental labs of Citizen Science in Action, promoted by Regione Emilia-Romagna together with Art-ER, Lepida and the University of Bologna, were held in Faenza during the Digital Days on November 16th and 17th.
The final stage, dedicated to the Digital Wellbeing, saw four classes from the Oriani and Torricelli-Ballardini institutes work with passion, giving rise to ideas and app mockups ranging from recognizing fake news to monitoring time spent on devices.
With the last two workshops, the number of students involved in this activity rises to over 600.
Through gamification and game thinking, students experienced a real journey into the world of citizen science and the challenges of the 2030 Agenda, discovering how data and digital can become powerful tools for the understatement and improvement of the reality around them.
This first experiment ends here, but the CitizenER Science project aims to grow and reserve new activities and surprises for the future. For further information about the Citizen Science project: digitale.regione.emilia-romagna.it/progetti/citizer-science/laboratori/
