AI-BRIDGE has been approved, the European project that will ensure continuity for ER2Digit, the European Digital Innovation Hub of Emilia-Romagna.
Over recent years, Lepida has provided Public Administrations with free "Test Before Invest" services, among which the most concrete results include the expansion of the regional LoRaWAN network and the RetePAIoT platform, featuring active sensors for hydrometric monitoring and water consumption in schools; the experimentation of the "IoT for Social" protocol for the benefit of vulnerable groups; and new domains of Generative Artificial Intelligence, including LLM-based administrative chatbots.
With AI-BRIDGE, the partnership network is expanding nationwide: the project brings together five first-call European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs), united in a federated network model to share governance, interoperable infrastructures, and harmonized service delivery across the entire Italian territory.
Lepida is strengthening its commitment by deploying three new services dedicated to Public Administrations: AI Automation Testing & Validation, to evaluate in a controlled manner intelligent automation solutions prior to large-scale adoption; Predictive AI Testing & Optimization, to experiment with predictive AI in support of maintenance, planning, and resource allocation; Responsible AI Compliance Testing, to verify the compliance of AI systems with the AI Act, GDPR, and ethical guidelines.
