SAVIA is the first Artificial Intelligence for law quality project, developed by the Legislative Assembly of Emilia-Romagna in collaboration with Cineca.

It’s a tool that allows to receive answers to questions in natural language regarding the regulatory body of Regional laws, their implementation by the Regional Council, Municipalities and Province as well as the effects they produce on the territory.

The practical applications of the tool were the focus of a conference held on June 30th.

The Electronic Health Record 2.0 (Fascicolo Sanitario Elettronico 2.0) represents an upgrade for the Italian digital healthcare system, longing to upgrade interoperability, usability and participation for the citizen.

Among the most relevant new features is the new version of the Taccuino (“Notebook”), the section in which the patient can integrate personal health data.

An historic milestone for public connectivity in Emilia-Romagna: the EmiliaRomagnaWiFi network, a free, public and open service promoted by the Region and run by Lepida, has reached and exceeded the threshold of 7 million unique users in just one year, with an increase of more than 55% in just 12 months. 

A surprising result, which far exceeded the initial expectations and that consolidates our Region as one of the most advanced territories at a national level on a free and widespread digital access point of view.

The second PADRION in-presence meeting was held in Elbasan on 29 and 30 May 2025.

This summit has been a key moment in consolidating the operational phase of the project.

The official signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) opened the event: this Memorandum enshrines the partners' commitment to share, develop and implement a common vision on effective digital policies and tools at a local level.

Lepida, as the frontrunner, coordinated the activities with a highly participatory and structured approach.

In June 2025, the first Lepida's Sustainability Statement for the 2024 financial year was published on the Company’s institutional website and approved by the BOD on March 25th and subsequently by the Shareholders' Meeting on June 10th, in addition to the Annual Financial Statements and the Management Report.

Through this new sustainability statement, Lepida consolidates and expands the social reporting process that has been underway for more than twelve years.

On 8 May, in the Emilia-Romagna Region, within the framework of the EmiliaRomagnaSmartWorking project, the in-person meeting “Conoscere e governare: Demografia e socializzazione organizzativa, le politiche del Personale” (Knowledge for governance: demography, socialization and staff policies) was held, and the Metropolitan City of Bologna has presented an intern research about organizing demography, a field of study that analyses the composition of the workforce within an organisation on the basis of demographic variables.

On March 12 and 13 the final seminar of the European project Data4Energy was held in Falun (Sweden).

It’s an Erasmus+ initiative that aims to strengthen the capacity of local governments in the collection, management and use of energy data to support more effective policies on environmental sustainability.

During the seminar, the results of interviews with medium-sized municipalities in Emilia-Romagna and Sweden were presented, together with the results of the online survey aimed at small municipalities.
